ALMA DOBBS, age 91, passed away on October 11, 2018. She was born to the late Jesse Hogue and Pairlee Talley on April 27, 1927, in Mount Vernon, Ark.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Dobbs, and daughter, Janie Horn; stepson, Steve Dobbs. She is survived by her son, Bob (Mary) Graham; daughters, Mary (Roger) White and Brenda (William) Dobbs; 13 grandchild­ren and several great-grandchild­ren.

Alma obtained her accounting degree back in the day, but decided that making people look and feel better about themselves is what she loved. So for 20 years, she was a profession­al hairdresse­r. Alma loved and adored her family, and in her later years enjoyed spending her time doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and knitting. A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Alma’s granddaugh­ter, Jacqulyne Walls, for all the years of selfless love she showed her grandmothe­r while caring for her.

–––––❖––––– MARY MARTHA FORT DUHART, 94, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2018.

She is survived by: two daughters, Bennie Fort Brooks and Florene Fort Armstrong (Charles); four grandchild­ren, Keith Deal, Alton Brooks, Kimberly Brooks Turner, all of Little Rock, and Tiffany Armstrong Comeaux of Houston, Texas; and a host of great-grandchild­ren and great-great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018, at St. Mark Baptist Church,

–––––❖––––– PHYLLIS GENYCE “JAN” MOORE McNEIL, age 94, of North Little Rock, died October 9, 2018.

She met the love of her life, Ray

J. McNeil, whom she married in March 1947.

Thus began an adventure that spanned more than 60 years together and took them to several states and countries. She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church and later attended First Baptist Church of Pangburn.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Iva Moore, her husband, and siblings, James, Charleen, David and Roe. Phyllis is survived by her children, Sherry A. McNeil, Janis K. Stansell (Roy) and William T. McNeil (Amy); two granddaugh­ters, several great-grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the House of Three for their wonderful care and support in a difficult time.

Visitation will be Monday, October 15, at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services at 1:30 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Miner Pilcher, who preceded him in death along with his brothers, David Pilcher and

Steve Pilcher.

He is survived by his son, Justin Wood (Clayton) of Sherwood; daughters, Lydia Evans of Bald Knob and Sarah Pilcher; sisters, Mary Pilcher of Bryant and Janice Pilcher of Oregon; brother, Paul Pilcher of Roland; and other family and friends.
