ALMA DOBBS, age 91, passed away on Oc­to­ber 11, 2018. She was born to the late Jesse Hogue and Pair­lee Tal­ley on April 27, 1927, in Mount Ver­non, Ark.

She is pre­ceded in death by her lov­ing hus­band, Ray­mond Dobbs, and daugh­ter, Janie Horn; step­son, Steve Dobbs. She is sur­vived by her son, Bob (Mary) Gra­ham; daugh­ters, Mary (Roger) White and Brenda (William) Dobbs; 13 grand­chil­dren and sev­eral great-grand­chil­dren.

Alma ob­tained her ac­count­ing de­gree back in the day, but de­cided that mak­ing peo­ple look and feel bet­ter about them­selves is what she loved. So for 20 years, she was a pro­fes­sional hair­dresser. Alma loved and adored her fam­ily, and in her later years en­joyed spend­ing her time do­ing cross­word puz­zles, cro­chet­ing and knitting. A very spe­cial and heart­felt thank you goes to Alma’s grand­daugh­ter, Jac­qulyne Walls, for all the years of self­less love she showed her grand­mother while car­ing for her.

A Fu­neral Ser­vice will be at 2 p.m., Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 13, 2018, at Roller-Owens Fu­neral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Lit­tle Rock, (501) 791-7400. –––––❖––––– MARY MARTHA FORT DUHART, 94, of Lit­tle Rock, went to be with the Lord on Oc­to­ber 9, 2018.

She is sur­vived by: two daugh­ters, Ben­nie Fort Brooks and Florene Fort Arm­strong (Charles); four grand­chil­dren, Keith Deal, Al­ton Brooks, Kim­berly Brooks Turner, all of Lit­tle Rock, and Tif­fany Arm­strong Comeaux of Hous­ton, Texas; and a host of great-grand­chil­dren and great-great-grand­chil­dren.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be held at 10 a.m., Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, 2018, at St. Mark Bap­tist Church,

–––––❖––––– PHYL­LIS GENYCE “JAN” MOORE McNEIL, age 94, of North Lit­tle Rock, died Oc­to­ber 9, 2018.

She met the love of her life, Ray

J. McNeil, whom she mar­ried in March 1947.

Thus be­gan an ad­ven­ture that spanned more than 60 years to­gether and took them to sev­eral states and coun­tries. She was a mem­ber of Bar­ing Cross Bap­tist Church and later at­tended First Bap­tist Church of Pang­burn.

Phyl­lis was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Henry and Iva Moore, her hus­band, and si­b­lings, James, Charleen, David and Roe. Phyl­lis is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Sherry A. McNeil, Ja­nis K. Stansell (Roy) and William T. McNeil (Amy); two grand­daugh­ters, sev­eral great-grand­chil­dren and many nieces and neph­ews.

The fam­ily wishes to ex­tend a spe­cial thanks to the House of Three for their won­der­ful care and sup­port in a dif­fi­cult time.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, at 1:00 p.m. and fu­neral ser­vices at 1:30 p.m. at Grif­fin Leggett Rest Hills in North Lit­tle Rock.
