JUDY MARIE SORENSEN BRADSHER, 73, of Sherwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 25,

2018, in time for her mother’s birthday party in heaven.

She was born on July 24th,

1945, in Little

Rock, to the late

Donald and Bettie Sorensen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dale Steven Sorensen and David Michael Sorensen. She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Ann Pruitt and Julie Gail Brown; brothers, Donald Floyd Sorensen (Allene) and Roger Dean Sorensen (Maria); sister-in-law, Lynnette Sorensen; grandchild­ren, Austen Brown (Brandi), Nathan West, Blair Griffin, and Sam Pruitt; great-grandchild­ren, Asher and Keeley Brown, and Cristian Banut; nieces, Barbra Power (Mark), Michelle Sorensen, Sofia Sorensen, Raquel Sorensen and Grace Sorensen; great-nephews, Ian and Noah Power; and her loving companion John Hills.

Judy retired from Southweste­rn Bell after 32 years of service. She then followed her true passion and became a Pulaski County Master Gardener and was employed by Hines Nursery and Botanical Gardens. She was a member of the Southweste­rn Bell Pioneers, Night Bloomers Garden Club, and spent numerous hours volunteeri­ng for the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be Monday, October 29, at 2 p.m. and a memorial service following at 3 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. –––––❖––––– SPENCER JOSEPH HANVEY, 24, of Maumelle, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 in

Las Vegas, Nev. while traveling to Washington state to visit family. He was born to Mike and Barbara

(Hilton) Hanvey on October 21,

1994, in Little Rock. He is preceded in death by grandfathe­rs, Steven LeRoy Hanvey, Charles Joseph Hilton; and one aunt, Toria Lea Bobbitt.

Spencer Joseph recently rededicate­d his life to Christ and found his passion for life and ministry through John 3:16 Ministries. He was a gifted athlete, playing baseball, football and basketball in school, was a great chef, very charismati­c, and had a heart of gold. He was previously the sous-chef at the Alotian Golf Club, a chef at Ferneau’s, and was currently employed at Hank’s Furniture in Rogers.

Spencer Joseph is survived by his parents; sister, Hillary Mayberry (Jacob) of Benton; grandmothe­rs, Betty Jo Hanvey of Hoxie, Marilyn Doris Hilton of Tacoma, Wash.; his love, Nadia Branton; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 117 W Maryland Ave., Sherwood, Ark. 72120. Burial to follow at Riverwood Memorial Park in Maumelle. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. –––––❖––––– LOUIS EDWARD McNAIR, 81, of North Little Rock, passed away on Thursday, October 25th,

2018. He was born in Scott, Arkansas, on

June 24, 1937, to the late Walter L. and Lina

Fleming McNair.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents; by brothers, Bill, Leo and Donald McNair; and sisters, Helen Dycus, Lalafaye Daughenbau­gh and Mary Sue Anousakes. He was a lifelong member of the Scott United Pentecosta­l Church and had retired from Truck Driving with the Local 828 Teamsters Union.

Louis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janette Kyzer McNair, by his children, Janie Pelkey (James) of Mayflower, Steven McNair (Cherie’) of Sheridan, Cindy Addie (Robert) of England and Scotty McNair of North Little Rock; his sister, Ida Rowan (Bill); 13 grandchild­ren and 10 great-grandchild­ren.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Greystone Nursing and Rehab and Kindred Hospice for the loving care they provided.

2018. He was born to Hiram and Nelsie (Martin) Prince on April 24,

1935, in Springfiel­d, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law,

Debra Prince.

Charles worked at the Arkansas Gazette as a Linotype Operator for 26 years until he retired in 1991. He was President of Local Union 92 of the Internatio­nal Typographi­cal Union, enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and watching the Razorbacks.

Charles is survived by his wife, Joyce Gardner Prince; two sons, Charles Prince of Conway, Barry Prince (Becky) of Colleyvill­e, Texas; daughter, Andrea Seidenschw­arz (Chad) of Paragould; grandchild­ren: Shawn, Farity, Connor, Noah, Sawyer Prince; great-granddaugh­ter, Hailey Prince; sister, Shirlene Wood (Lewis) of Royal Oak, Mich.; brother-in-law, Bill Gardner (Jill) of Bella Vista; nephews, Mark Wood (Heike), Scott Wood (Kim), Graham Gardner; and exwife, Meredith Prince.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. –––––❖––––– VICTORIA CHANDLER WOODS, age 69, of Sherwood, passed away October

18, 2018. She was born June

27, 1949, in

Searcy, to Leamon Barnett and Ila Jeanne Chandler. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 30 years, Benjamin Jerry Woods.

Victoria graduated from Searcy High School and retired from Southweste­rn Bell (now AT&T) in 2003. She was a generous person with a big heart and very much an animal lover. She loved the outdoors, bird watching and touring the country with her husband. She and Ben were members of the Miata Club in St. Louis Missouri and enjoyed the many trips that they would take with the club. They also drove their Miata and followed Route 66 all the way out to California and had a great time taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and worked the one in the paper every day.

Victoria is survived by stepdaught­er, Mona Burris and husband Darren of Sherwood; stepson, Jerry Woods of Sherwood; granddaugh­ter, Sara Lemoir and husband Mark of Bristol, United Kingdom; grandson, Geno Jameson of Sherwood; and by three great-grandchild­ren, Jacob Lemoir, Ethan Lemoir, and Connor Lemoir.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, at 12 noon at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
