Heartless catastrophe

-

The zero-tolerance policy that the Trump regime forced upon the asylum-seekers and people looking for a better life was a heartless catastrophe. The federal judges involved in the overruling of the policy have correctly upheld the law.

Due process is the right of all people accused of a crime. Trump’s regime says it is illegal immigrating. No other president has had such a harsh policy. Not Dems or Reps.

These children were separated from their parents without any crime being committed, other than being born in another country, which apparently is a crime to the Trump regime. Some separated children were given psychotropic drugs, obviously without consent of their parents. U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee ordered such actions to stop. I wonder if any doctor ordered such medication?

To take children from parents without due process is illegal. To force medication on these children is illegal without proper and legal steps. The rule of law must be upheld.

The conservatives talk about family values; well, what about these innocent families? The conservatives talk about less government. Thousands of people being detained, children in camps, who do you think pays for all of this big government? Certainly not a tax-dodging conservative from Manhattan.

I’m proud to be a member of the “mob,” as Mitch McConnell states. JEFF LAHA Little Rock
