Personal space
Rick Fleetwood
Where I live: I have the pleasure of living in one of the best areas in town — the Heights. The Heights is not an area — it is a way of life. This area is just like it was in the days when I grew up as a kid. You feel safe and everyone knows and cares about each other. You actually know your neighbors as friends and not as acquaintances. Occupation: CEO of Snell Prosthetics & Orthotics
My favorite space is: Every room. It’s beautiful looking in the back and it feels like you are in the country while actually living in the city. But if I had to pick just one room, it would be the living room.
Why? When people come to visit or congregate, you actually talk because there is no TV and I also like to have the piano played when there is a function going. Another thing about the Heights is that someone is always throwing a fundraiser for a charity or political candidate. I believe that virtually every charity and/or cause has been blessed by the generous giving of those who live in the Heights.
If there is one change to improve this space, I would: Do nothing different because there are too many fond memories of old friends and new friends getting together. While it is a nice size, you still feel comfortable, warm and welcome. I love my home, thank God for the neighborhood, my city and the great state of Arkansas.
