JUDITH ROWENA DUNN, 69, of Jacksonvil­le passed from this life on October 24,

2018. She was born June 15,

1949 in Urbana,

Ohio to the late

Robert F. and

June K. Geuy.

Judith enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking and horses. She had an infectious laugh. Judith was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by siblings, Pvt. First Class Jimmy Geuy, Michael McFarlin; and granddaugh­ter, B.J. Dunn.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years Robert V. Dunn Sr.; children, Lori J. Roberts of Jacksonvil­le, Jason M. Dunn of Kenton, Ohio, Robert V. Dunn Jr. of Jacksonvil­le, and Charlene R. Bettis also of Jacksonvil­le. Other survivors include sisters, Joyce (James) Bayhan of Huntsville, Ohio, Linda McFarlin of Bells, Texas; brother Jeffery McFarlin of Texas; twelve grandchild­ren, twelve great-grandchild­ren and a host of extended family, friends and her fur baby, Otis.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Conger officiatin­g. 27, 2018. He was a native of Prescott, Arkansas and was born to the late

Grover Cleveland and Lula

White Hitt on

May 22, 1926.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Norma Pierce Hitt, an infant sister, Martha Margaret Hitt and 2 brothers, Sam William Hitt and identical twin brother, Richard Taylor Hitt.

He is survived by one sister, Lula Jane Schriver of Lompoc, Calif., sister in law, Helen Hitt of North Little Rock, two daughters, Kim Hitt Santa Cruz of Little Rock, Stacy Hitt Smith (Robert) of Oklahoma City, Okla., three stepsons, Judge Mackie Pierce (Renee) of North Little Rock, Nick Pierce (Pamela) of Sherwood, and Dana Pierce (Jennie) of Jacksonvil­le, Ark. He is also survived by eight grandchild­ren, seven great-grandchild­ren and numerous nieces and nephews and a special life-long friend, Richie Robins of North Little Rock.

Tom was a proud veteran. He enlisted in the United States Navy at age 17 and served in the South Pacific during World War II and re-enlisted and served in Korea. He was among the veterans on the Honor Flight from Arkansas who traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial, as well as other national monuments in 2013. It was one of his favorite trips ever!

He was employed by the National D-Con Company and traveled the United States as a sales representa­tive. He retired from Allen Foods, serving Arkansas school cafeterias and nursing

homes, where the kitchen staff was always delighted to see him. Tom and his twin brother, Richard, loved to collect recipes and cook. Tom loved Sunday afternoon drives, watching old westerns and was an avid Razorback fan and seldom missed watching a game.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Visitation at 1:30 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street in Jacksonvil­le, Arkansas. Entombment with military honors will be held immediatel­y following at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonvil­le.

1930, to the late

John Scott and

Carrie Pippin

Scott. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Scott: and sister Wilma Smith. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood. He retired from 3 M company and Sherwood Volunteer Fire Department. He loved helping people through the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief and mission trips.

He is survived by his wife, Darriel Holden Scott, by his children Michael Scott and Cheryl Wills, grandchild­ren, Cynthia Shuffield, Marti Wills, Bruce Wills (Kate), great-grandchild­ren, Billy Shuffield, Katelyn Shuffield, and Haley Shuffield: sisters, Norma Thompson (Thom) and Brenda Shermantin­e (John) and brother Elzie Scott.

The family would like to express thanks to the St. Vincent’s Hospitals and Hospice Home Care for the loving care they provided.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30 at 10 am with the funeral service following at 11 am at First Baptist Church of Sherwood, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Sumner Cemetery in North Pulaski County.

27, 2018 in Little

Rock, Arkansas.

She was married to Ollie

Irvin Stark on September 10,

1955 and in this marriage had two daughters.

Netha loved her Lord and Savior deeply and lived her entire life as a proud and bold follower of Jesus. She demonstrat­ed God’s love, grace, and forgivenes­s to every person she met. Her legacy is one of joy and hope.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and brother Mickey Wallace.

She is survived by daughters Susan Neissl (Paul) of Charleston, Ark., and Patricia Cahoone (DJ) of Sherwood, Ark.; grandchild­ren Patrick Lander (Suzi), Lacey Clark (Josh), Ethan Pritchard, Hadleigh Cahoone, McKenzie Neissl, and Lucas Cahoone; great-grandchild­ren Kenzlee and Kaiden Lander, Ellie and Edie Clark, and Easton Pritchard. She is also survived by Janelyn Roberts who has been like a daughter to her and a sister Darlene Hoge.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of West Markham Subacute and Rehabilita­tion Center for their exceptiona­l love, care, and attention. To the custodial workers, CNA’s, nurses, rehab staff, and administra­tor Angela, granny loved you and cherished your daily visits, above and beyond care, and love for her. –––––❖––––– ROSALINDA SUSAN WINSTEAD, 84, of Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord Friday afternoon, October 26, 2018, surrounded by her husband

Sam, her three children and other family and friends.

Rosie was born on February 5, 1934 in Brownsvill­e, Texas to United States Army Chief Warrant Officer Carrol Floyd Davis and Juana Ledesma Davis, the middle child and only sister to older brother John, who preceded her in death, and younger brother Charles, who now lives in Flippin, Arkansas. She attended schools in the United States including Hawaii and Germany, and following in her father’s footsteps, she continued her love of travel, visiting 17 countries and all 50 states.

At 21 years old, Rosie met Sam Winstead in Little Rock and married a year later. As young marrieds, Sam and Rosie both had day jobs - she worked several years for Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes - while also owning and operating laundromat­s around Pulaski County. Together Sam and Rosie continued to find new business opportunit­ies, to grow their family and to be actively involved in the community and their home church, Geyer Springs First Baptist.

Rosie loved and trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She lived out her faith as wife, mom, and friend daily. Rosie spent mornings reading the Bible. She actively pursued a verse the Lord gave her for her family, Isaiah 44:3. Her desire for her family to know God’s love and salvation was her top priority. Rosie demonstrat­ed this as she faithfully and lovingly cultivated relationsh­ips with each of her children and grandchild­ren.

Rosie is survived by Sam, her husband of 62 years, their three children and their families, Neal and Jenni (Samuel, Jonathon, and Brooke); Brian (Kristin and Tanner Cypret and son Tanner, Justin, and Joshua); and Michelle and John Ray White (Corie, John Tyler, and Allie); and many inlaws, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Visitation will precede the service from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
