For party or principle

-

When you vote, are you going to vote party or principle?

Before you push the button, think about your daughters, all the women in your family. Push one button and you are giving tacit approval for women to be vilified in so many ways. Downright caustic name-calling about looks and race. Heavens help if one of them is sexually assaulted. If it comes to “he said-she said,” she will be accused of making the story up. Do you want your sons and the men in your family to believe they have a right to name-call and pursue sexual advances with no consequences? Party or principle? Think before you push the button.

We are a nation of immigrants. None of us were “American.” The French, Spanish and English came here. Yet we have become a nation that refuses to welcome new immigrants. Donald Trump has also begun to isolate us from longtime international friends. Party or principle? Think before you push the button.

I have never heard French Hill say one negative thing about the manner in which Donald Trump speaks about women or people of color. What does French Hill think about Donald Trump bragging about the man who body-slammed a reporter? I have not heard one word. He touts the tax cut that profits him, while the average American gets a trifle. French Hill must love his guns since the NRA has given him over $1 million for his campaign. That is not money for Arkansas. Party or principle? Think before you push the button. GWENNETH PRICE PICARD
