New hub offers jobs at Simmons Foods

Simmons Foods recently opened a hiring center in Siloam Springs as a central hub for people interested in working full or part time for the poultry processor, a news release said.

Applicants can be interviewed, receive assistance, undergo any screenings and submit applications on-site.

Hourly positions for all 12 Simmons locations in Northwest Arkansas will be offered at the hiring center. Openings at petfood, chicken-processing, feed-mill and hatchery sites are available.

Of the 193 jobs available on Simmons’ recruitment website, 89 were in Arkansas as of Thursday.

The center, on U.S. 412 in the Shoppes at Siloam center, is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
