The drowning death of a fraternity pledge brings Bull (Michael Weatherly) another consulting opportunit­y in “A Business of Favors.” Prosecutor­s seek his help, which may be curtailed when the frat members unite to prevent him from getting any informatio­n on the hazing tragedy. Susan Blommaert (The Blacklist) guest stars as the judge in the case. Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio and Christophe­r Jackson also star.

7 p.m. on Food Network Barefoot Contessa

The new primetime holiday-themed special “Cook Like a Pro: Thanksgivi­ng Sides” finds charming chef Ina Garten focusing on her favorite part of the Turkey Day feast: the side dishes. And during the course of this hour, she leaves few veggies unturned to create stunning dishes that are so flavorful, they might well steal the spotlight from the featured fowl on the table. She also invites some of her friends to prepare their faves, including superfan Jennifer Garner, who makes her grandmothe­r’s sweet potato casserole.

7 p.m. on Hallmark Channel Movie: Christmas at Graceland

Shot on location at the historic home of music icon Elvis Presley, this new yuletide drama stars Kelly Pickler as Laurel, a Chicago businesswo­man and single mom who takes young daughter Emma (Claire Elizabeth Green) with her to close a deal in her hometown, Memphis. Her visit there reunites her with Clay (Wes Brown), now a concert promoter but previously Laurel’s music partner on an act she abandoned on the verge of success.

9:03 p.m. on Lifetime It’s a Wonderful Lifetime Preview Special

Melissa Joan Hart hosts a new special previewing this season of yuletide-themed movies on Lifetime, through the prism of a cheeky mash-up of Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. As Hart reflects on how dismal life would be without these annual offerings, she’s visited by the “host” of Lifetime Christmas Past, Present and Future. During this hour-long presentati­on, she gives viewers a peek of the 14 original offerings coming up this season.

By almost any reckoning, this new episode’s featured artist, Janelle Monae, would be considered “a lot,” in the sense that she seems to do nothing by half-measures. The Atlanta-based multihyphe­nate has a successful modeling career, as well as serious cred as an actress, having starred in two iconic 2016 dramas, Hidden Figures and Moonlight.

This appearance spotlights her growing reputation as a musical artist, most likely drawing from her third studio album,

Dirty Computer, which dropped last April.
