Pet of the week
Cora is our pet of the week. She is an approximately 1-yearold Labrador mix, weighing in at about 45 pounds with unique looks. She can be a little excitable at first, but once she gets to know you, she’ll calm down. She enjoys her daily walks in the neighborhood. She loves other dogs and will get along with dog-confident cats. She is spayed, house-trained and heartworm-negative.
Canine Close-up
Starsky and Hutch are a bonded pair. Starsky is a Labrador and Hutch is a Husky mix. They are both around 1½ years old and are lovebugs waiting for a forever home full of cuddles and snuggles. They are two calm and gentle souls who seem to have known each other their entire lives and can’t imagine being apart. Besides walks, they are great on car rides. They don’t mind hanging out with other dogs but aren’t sure if they like cats. Starsky can be a little shy at first but warms up. Hutch is more outgoing. They’re both super-smart, house-trained, and doggy-door trained. They follow basic commands and have never torn anything up in their foster home. They sleep indoors at their foster home and enjoy playing together. Hutch loves being outside. They are both neutered, vaccinated and heartworm-negative.
Featured Felines
Gypsy is about 2 years old, has perfected her cat skills, and knows what she wants from life — a couch full of sun rays, a basket full of toys and being tickled under her chin. She has a ton of spunk and prefers a more active environment where she can stretch her legs and get plenty of stimulation. She would prefer a home where she’s the only cat or would be fine with one or two other animals (dogs or cats), or with older children.
Adoptable Bunnies
Arwen and Rosie are bonded sisters. Arwen was born on New Year’s Day 2014, and Rosie was born in June 2014. They have the same parents. They are both spayed and looking for a home together.
