MARY GLENN (DAVENPORT) BARNETT, 92, of North Little Rock, went to her heavenly home on December 7, 2018.

She will be reunited with her parents, the late

Robert and Ruth

Velmer Davenport, husband,

James, and son,

Billy Turner.

She is survived by daughter, Mary (Robert) Austin, and son, Jim (Betty) Barnett of North Little Rock; seven grandchild­ren, Alicia (Chad) Smith, Olivia (Hunter) Jones, Melissa (John) Murphy, Ashleigh Barnett, Nick Barnett, Amanda Anthony, and Angel Anthony; and three great-grandchild­ren.

Mary was born September 15, 1926 in Aubrey, AR and graduated from Joe T. Robinson in 1945. She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church and cherished her Sunday School class memories and friendship­s. She retired from Franklin Electric and enjoyed working in her yard, quilting, and cooking Sunday lunch for her family. Her family will remember her best when watching her favorite game show, Wheel of Fortune.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Little Rock National Cemetery with Dr. William “Buster” Lackey officiatin­g. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116.

Cmd. Sgt. Maj. JAMES H. GARRITSON (U.S. Army, Ret.), 88, of Little Rock, passed away December 5,

–––––❖––––– KENNETH THOMAS RUSSELL, 97, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away December 6, 2018, at Baptist Health Medical Center. He was born June 24, 1921, to William and Bessie Russell.

Mr. Russell was a member of the United States Marine Corps and served his country during World War II. During his time in the service, he was awarded a Purple Heart. After his time in the service, he worked at Crescent Mill Works and retired from Barton’s Lumber Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworkin­g and reading his bible.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Jennie Pearl of 52 years, and Betty Jean, of 23 years; brother, L.V. Russell; and sister, Lucy Starnes. Survivors include his son, Thomas S. (Lyn) Russell, daughter, Mary Sue (Norman) Smith; grandchild­ren, Norma Sue (Russ) Burns, Scarlette Michelle Smith, Lincoln Thomas (Traci) Russell, and Nicholas Grant Russell; and great-grandchild­ren, Sarah Burns, Rachel Burns, and Reid Russell.

Funeral services will be held December 10, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro, Arkansas. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Noble Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas. Bro. James G. Lumpkin Jr. and Bro. Donnie Copeland will be officiatin­g.
