City parking plaza now open all day

HOT SPRINGS — Exchange Street Parking Plaza is now open 24 hours a day, offering free parking for downtown residents and visitors, the city said Friday in a news release.

The city-owned, multiuse park-and-ride facility, which is at 128 Exchange St. in Hot Springs, can be accessed via Court Street off Central Avenue. It’s located on the Hot Springs Intracity Transit bus route.

The facility features a rooftop view, a first-floor covered event area, two floors of covered parking and a total of 245 parking spaces.

The top floor offers openair parking or entertainment space.

The entire facility is accessible for the disabled. Security cameras cover the facility, including the elevator, and Hot Springs police drive through the site on patrols.
