TULSA, Okla. — Richard Paul Halbrook, 62, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January

31, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on

July 23, 1956, in Conway, Arkansas, and was the only child of Richard Bernard and Pauline Louise (Abrams) Halbrook. Richard was a retired Executive Vice-President for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.

Richard is survived by his

daughter, Mackenzie Evans Halbrook of Venice, Florida; stepfather, Charles Perry of Batesville, Arkansas; uncle Christophe­r and aunt Lois Halbrook of California; and several cousins including Shirley Halbrook of Reno, Nevada. Richard is preceded in death by his daughter, Haley Margaret Halbrook, his parents, and grandparen­ts, Cecil and Margaret Abrams.

His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 7 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church in Verdigris, Oklahoma.

Feb. 15, 2019, at Mayfield Road Baptist Church in Arlington with Rev. Doug McPherson presiding. Visitation: 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Mrs. Lites and her husband served for 34 years with the Internatio­nal Mission Board. Survivors: Nannette will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Milton A. Lites; their two children, Emily Lites Barnard and Phillip Lites, both of Arlington, Texas; grandchild­ren, Amy and Natalie Barnard, Sara Lites and Allison Lites Bender.

–––––❖––––– MOODY, Texas — Linda Lee Gwatney Fowler, 80, of Moody, Texas, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Eagle Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Fowler was born on July 22, 1938, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Louie and Beatrice McMurray Gwatney. Linda married Bill Fowler on November 15, 1957. She devoted her life to her home, husband, and children as a stay-at-home wife and mother. Bill and Linda were proud, loving, and devoted parents of sons Michael and Brad. Linda loved to cook and was always looking for new recipes. She was active in the Home Extension Club and loved to square dance and camp. Linda had many friends and cared for several until their passing. She had a smile for every person and occasion, never met a stranger, and loved unconditio­nally. She will be missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra Gwatney. Survivors include sons Michael L. Fowler and wife, Rebecca; Brad Fowler and wife, Lee Ann; four grandchild­ren, Bethany Townsend and husband, Parsons; Ryan Fowler, Aaron Fowler and wife, Savana, Linda Fowler; six great-grandchild­ren, Caleb, Macy, Ainsley, Hudson, Azura, and Aaron Jr.

PORT ARANSAS, Texas — Larry Don Hall, 67, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019, at his home in Port Aransas, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on

June 16, 1951, in

Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to John

Wiley & Genimae

Cagle Hall.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Dottie Lane; sons, Bryan Hall (Laura) and Phillip Sechler; daughter, Mary Knape (Marty); brother, Jimmy Hall; grandchild­ren, Jonathan Hall, Justin Hall, Lauren Hall, Griffin Knape, Anna Knape and many dear friends.

Larry was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and Arkansas State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then worked for Southweste­rn Bell in the Network Engineerin­g Department. After his retirement from Southweste­rn Bell, Larry moved to Port Aransas, Texas, and joined the Port Aransas Realty team as a Realtor for the past 15 years.

Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsma­n. He loved to work out and enjoyed listening to music from many different genres and eras. One of his proudest accomplish­ments was obtaining his boat captain license. He enjoyed telling his family and friends of his adventures at sea. Larry was a member of the Cache River Sporting Club and a dedicated card carrying member of the Hula Hut Social Club. He lived life to the fullest every single day and was a warm, loving and caring family man. Larry will be dearly missed by his family and friends but it brings us all comfort to know that he is at peace and with his Lord.

A Celebratio­n of Life will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Trinity by the Sea Church in Port Aransas. There will be a visitation immediatel­y following the service and then a closing ceremony at the gulf. Funeral arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Floral arrangemen­ts may be sent to the church. Donations can be made in Larry’s name to the charity of your choice.
