CAREER FAIR SATURDAY

Job seekers will want to make plans to attend the City of Little Rock 2019 Career Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the West Central Community Center, 8616 Colonel Glenn Road.

The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services will have two mobile workforce centers on site, and job seekers may use these facilities to apply online for open positions. In addition, hiring managers will be available to conduct on-site interviews for select positions with the City of Little Rock.

While unsolicited printed resumes will not be accepted, attendees should load their resumes onto a flash drive so they can easily upload the documents at one of the mobile centers.

Before attending the fair, job seekers are encouraged to visit www.lrjobs.net to review the current list of available full-time, part-time and summer positions.

Those attending the fair should wear business or business-casual attire, depending on the position desired, and should be clean and well groomed.

“Dress to impress,” Mattes said. “You only get one chance to make a good first impression.”
