BILLY J. STRACENER, 87, of Little Rock, passed away on July 13, 2019. He was born on March 12, 1932 in Guy, Ark., to John Ellis and Hester Stracener.

Billy was proud of his military service, being a SSGT in the Army during the Korean War.

He attended the University of the Ozarks on a football scholarshi­p. Billy was a disk jockey and radio station manager. He loved animals and gardening, was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed the accomplish­ments of his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty three years, Margie; brother, Bentley Stracener; daughter, Debbie Stracener; and son-in-law, Wes Crittendon.

Billy is survived by two sons, Perry Stracener (June) of Rogers and Mark Stracener (Susie) of North Little Rock; two daughters, Sharon Crittendon of Fort Smith and Leah Stracener (Scott Carter) of Conway; twelve grandchild­ren, and sixteen great-grandchild­ren; and two sisters, Helen Dollar (Elvis) of Loraine, Ohio and Sandra Davis (Tim) of Ovieda, Fla.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK, NLR, followed by the service at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, Ark. 72202-3591.

MICHAEL KEVIN WINTZ, 61, of Jacksonvil­le passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was born September 2, 1957 in Atchison, Kan., to the late John H. and Naomi L. Henson Wintz. Mr. Wintz enjoyed woodworkin­g, caring for his pets, and collecting sports memorabili­a, especially from the NFL. He was the Kansas City Chiefs number one fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Wintz; brother, Jerry Wintz; sister-inlaw, Sherry Wintz; niece, Jolene Wintz and nephew, Robert Jones.

Survivors include brothers, Bill Wintz of Jacksonvil­le, Randy (Barbara) Wintz of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; nieces and nephews, Danny (Amy) Wintz of Lonoke, Rodney (Melissa) Wintz of Jacksonvil­le, Chad (Jennifer) Wintz of Jacksonvil­le and Dana Jones of Missouri; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home with Gary Fletcher officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
