Crazy in Jonesboro
A young New York banker, sent to Deadrock, Nev., to foreclose on a rundown theater, falls for the spunky daughter of the theater owner in Crazy for You! (music by George Gershwin, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, book by Ken Ludwig). The Foundation of Arts production is onstage 6 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at The Forum Theater, 115 E. El Dorado country
Country singer Adam Doleac with opening act The Burners performs at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Murphy Arts District Amphitheater, 105 Locust St., El Dorado, part of the 2019 Murphy USA Summer Concert Series.
Preceding the concert, on the Union County Courthouse square, 101 N. Washington Ave., El Dorado, the MAD Farmers Market Downtown runs from 8 a.m.-noon; afternoon activities include Summer on the Square, Grill Wars, games, entertainment, the MAD Playscape and Splashpad, free downtown carriage rides, a car show and, at 6:15 p.m., Showdown at Sunset, a live gunfight re-enactment on the steps of the courthouse lawn.

Album release party
Cabot band Stays in Vegas — Christopher Fulmer, vocals and guitar; Blake Copeland, guitar; and Glen Powell, drums — will hold an all-ages release party for their third studio album, Kings of Pain (officially out Aug. 1), 8 p.m. Saturday at Vino’s, 923 W. Seventh St., Little Rock. Also performing: Eddie & the Defiantz, Merrows, and comedian Angry Patrick. Doors open at 7. Cover charge is $7.
