Try ‘rumba grass Americana’ with GinSingers

The GinSingers will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at South on Main in Little Rock. Admission is $7 in advance, $10 the day of the show.

The band, a duo (Joey de Lago and Stefanie Behe) based in Jasper, perform what they have called “rumba grass Americana.”

TODAY

Austin Meade will perform at 8 p.m. today at Griffin Restaurant in El Dorado. Admission is $5.

■ The Lewd Awakening Revue variety show will perform at 9 p.m. today at Maxine’s in Hot Springs. Admission is $10.

FRIDAY

Folk Family Revival, along with opening act Cosmic Farmer, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday at King’s Live in Conway. Admission is $5.

■ Ward Davis, along with opening act Josh Morningsta­r, will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at the Rev Room in Little Rock. Admission is $20.

Davis, a Monticello native who moved to Nashville, Tenn., has written songs that have been recorded by Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Buddy Jewell, Trace Adkins and Cody Jinks.

■ Paul Cherry, along with opening acts Bonzai Florist and Couch Jackets, will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at Maxine’s in Hot Springs. Admission is $7.

■ The Brent Frazier Band will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at The Big Chill in Hot Springs. Admission is $5.

■ The Juice will perform at 10 p.m. Friday at the Four Quarter Bar in North Little Rock. Admission is $10.

■ Lypstick Hand Grenade will perform at 10 p.m. Friday at Stickyz Rock ’n’ Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock. Admission is $6 for those ages 21 and over, $8 for those under age 21.

SATURDAY

The Eli Young Band, along with opening act Renee Blair, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at Magic Springs’ Timberwood Amphitheat­er in Hot Springs. Admission is $29.99, plus tax, after 7 p.m. (Admission to the park for the entire day ranges from $49.99 plus tax to $39.99 plus tax for those age 55 and older, $29.99 plus tax for military and first responders, $39.99 for children shorter than 4-feet tall and free for children age 3 and younger.)

■ Drawing Blanks, along with opening acts Warm Trickle, Makin Loaf and Shugar Pills, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Maxine’s in Hot Springs. Admission is $7.

■ Highway Sisters will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Restaurant in El Dorado. Admission is free.

■ Bad Habit will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Stickyz in Little Rock. Admission is $6 for those age 21 and over, $8 for those under age 21.

■ Indigo Honey, along with opening act Will Schuster, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at King’s Live in Conway. Admission is $5.

■ Stephen Neeper & The Wild Hearts will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $7.

■ The Brent Frazier Band will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at The Big Chill in Hot Springs. Admission is $5.

■ Woody & Sunshine will perform at Four Quarter Bar at 10 p.m. Saturday in North Little Rock. Admission is $7.

SUNDAY

Carolina Story, along with opening act Sean Michel, will perform at 8 p.m. Sunday at Stickyz in Little Rock. Admission is $12.

Carolina Story is a husband-wife duo, Ben and Emily Roberts, who are from Pine Bluff and South Dakota, respective­ly. They met in Memphis and began their musical career in East Nashville, Tenn. They began writing and touring in 2009. Black River Americana released the duo’s debut album, Lay Your Head Down.

TUESDAY

Diamond Empire Band will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stickyz in Little Rock. Admission is free.

WEDNESDAY

Lachaz Holloway will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday at South on Main. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 the day of the show.

■ Scott H. Biram will perform at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $10.

Biram, a Texas native sometimes known as “The Dirty Old One Man Band,” plays a blend of blues, punk, country and heavy metal music. He recorded four albums for his own label, Knuckle-Sandwich Records before signing with Bloodshot Records in Chicago, which has since released six Biram CDs, the latest of which, The Bad Testament, came out in 2017.
