Missionary Educator Presentation JACKSONVILLE — Missionary Educator Ann Greve will speak at 10:30 a.m. at Jacksonville First Assembly of God, 221 N. Elm St. In 1991, Greve went to Cambodia as a missionary associate with the Assemblies of God. She worked for nine years as a teacher and principal at the International School of Phnom Penh. Nine years ago, she became pastor for the International Christian Assembly. Greve also works to develop an educational ministry in Cambodian churches and schools. Arkansas Book and Paper Show JACKSONVILLE — The Arkansas Antiquarian Booksellers Association’s 34th annual Arkansas Book and Paper Show will continue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Jacksonville Community Center, 5 Municipal Drive. The show features rare antique books, first editions, author-signed editions and out-of-print books, as well as historical documents, photos, postcards, maps and more. BATESVILLE — Childbirth Education Classes are available at White River Medical Center for expecting mothers to help them prepare for the labor process. Stephanie Wade, maternity nurse navigator, hosts the events and answers questions from moms. Classes meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month. Mountains, Music and Motorcycles MOUNTAIN VIEW — The 15th annual Mountains, Music and Motorcycles festival will start Friday and continue through Aug. 18 on the Court Square downtown. Blues musicians are a change of pace from the usual folk music in front of the Courthouse. Riders traverse the winding roads of the national forest and visit outlying towns.

Arkansas Craft Gallery Featured Craftsmen MOUNTAIN VIEW — Meet Joyce and Desmond Simmons, owners of Lake in the Willows Apiary in Scott, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arkansas Craft Gallery, just off the square at 104 E. Main St. (Arkansas 66). The couple, who tend more than 75 beehives, will offer samples of their honey products, including flavored creamed spreads made by Joyce. They will have a glass observation beehive and a video that explains their harvest methods and commitment to saving bees from extinction. They will have a variety of beeswax candles, a beeswax wood protector and flavored lip balm for sale.
Cheeseburger in Paradise FAIRFIELD BAY — Cheeseburger in Paradise, the annual Fairfield Bay Education Center fundraiser, will take place from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center, 110 Lost Creek Parkway. The event will feature classic cheeseburgers catered by the Bayside Restaurant and dancing to live music by the Lucky Draw Band. Event tickets are $25, and raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
