Bridal Show adds perks for brides-to-be
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Show continues to be better than ever with the added perks to our Very Important Bride tickets – this show can’t be missed.
The Bridal Show’s hours are 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. The show boasts more than 100 reputable vendors to help engaged couples plan their weddings from start to finish. This show is the largest in Arkansas and has an estimated 1,500 in attendance.
The Bridal Show is not your typical trade show, according to Amanda Copley, events director of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “The annual event has become an idea showcase as our reputable vendors including florists, entertainment companies, caterers and rental companies display their amazing talent,” she said. “They have one chance to make a good impression on our Arkansas brides – so they bring it! They spend months developing their space and constructing designs. The event exhibits the latest trends, designs and wedding ideas happening in Arkansas.”
Tickets are $15 at the door or can be bought online for $10 in advance.
The show continues its favorite contests and prizes - the newspaper dress contest, the dance-off, and new this year- the make up challenge.
The Runway Fashion Show features more than 40 looks – from wedding gowns and tuxedos to bridesmaid’s gowns.
One lucky couple will win the Ultimate Wedding Package, valued at more than $5,000. The giveaway, which will be given out randomly at 5 p.m., features such prizes as photography, a DJ for the reception, flowers, a hotel stay, cake, jewelry and more. Other prizes will be given out throughout the show.
Brides-to-be will receive a free 2019 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Planner, published by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. This is a full-color, complete guide to planning a wedding, including timelines to help brides keep organized and stay on track with inspiration from real weddings across the state. The Bridal Planner includes beautiful photography, helpful editorials, checklists for brides and a listing of local businesses.
