New Year’s closings

The following state, federal and local government offices’ schedules may be affected by the New Year’s Day holiday Wednesday.

GARBAGE COLLECTION

Cammack Village: Collection Thursday.

Jacksonville: No collection Wednesday. Thursday and Friday routes run one day later than usual.

Little Rock: No collection Wednesday. No service changes to Monday, Thursday or Friday.

Little Rock Recycling: Collection of recycling will be delayed one day.

Maumelle: No collection Wednesday. Pickup will be delayed one day.

North Little Rock: No collection Wednesday. All routes will run one day late. Sherwood: No collection Wednesday.

Wrightsville: Garbage will be collected Thursday.

UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF PULASKI COUNTY

North of the river: Garbage collection delayed one day. South of the river: Garbage collection delayed one day.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

Cammack Village: Offices closed Wednesday. Jacksonville: Offices closed Wednesday.

Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority: Business offices closed Wednesday.

Little Rock: Offices closed Wednesday.

Maumelle: Offices closed Wednesday.

North Little Rock: Offices closed Wednesday. Sherwood: Offices closed Wednesday.

Wrightsville: Offices closed

Wednesday.

Pulaski County: Offices closed Wednesday.

Pulaski County Courthouse: Offices closed Wednesday. State: Offices closed Wednesday.

Federal: Offices closed Wednesday.

State Capitol: State Capitol offices closed Wednesday. The state Capitol building will, however, be open to visitors from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

POST OFFICE

Offices are closed Wednesday. Deliveries will not be made, and collection boxes will not be checked.

LIBRARIES

Central Arkansas Library System: Closed Wednesday. North Little Rock Laman Library: Closed Wednesday.

CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL CENTER:

Closed Wednesday.

SCHOOLS

Jacksonville North Pulaski:

Closed until Jan. 6.

ROCK REGION METRO:

Buses and River Rail streetcars will not run Wednesday. Offices will be closed Wednesday.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER

Offices closed Wednesday.

PARKING

The Little Rock parking enforcement unit won’t give tickets for metered and timed spaces Wednesday. However, metered parking at the airport will be enforced at all times.
