PEGGY JOAN (WILLBURN) MOREHEAD,

83, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Blythevill­e, Arkansas, and La Junta, Colorado, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Presbyteri­an Village surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born in Pueblo, Colorado, on September 25, 1936, to John and Marguerite (Owens) Willburn. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her family as a wife, mother, grandmothe­r, sister and aunt. Peggy was a member of the First Presbyteri­an Church in Blythevill­e, Ark. Her hobbies included reading, needlework, cheering on the Denver Broncos, watching westerns and sports, listening to music, and being active in her church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Morehead Sr.; her son, Ronald Morehead, Jr.; her son-in-law, Steve Bryles; her parents, John and Marguerite Willburn; her brother, Pete Willburn; her sister, Janet Kent; and her sister-in-law, Jeannie Willburn.

Peggy is survived by three children, Rick Morehead and his wife Diana of Berthoud, Colorado, Pam Bryles of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Rob Morehead of Marengo, Indiana. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jeannie Morehead of Blythevill­e, Arkansas; one brother, Bill Willburn of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchild­ren, Father Sam Morehead, Jackson Morehead and his wife Holly, Emily Fitzgerald, Ryan Morehead, Caitlyn Bryan and her husband Cody, Holly Morehead, Zach Morehead, Ben Bryles, and Whitney Morehead; and three great-grandchild­ren.

A private family Memorial Service for both Peggy and her husband, Ron, will be held in the summer of 2020 in Crestone, Colorado. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home. www.ruebelfune­ralhome.com.
