passed away at his home in North Little Rock on February 1, 2020, at the age of 86. Dwayne is survived by son, Mike Glanton and Eva Jean Bruce of Gallatin, Tenn., son Darrell Glanton of Davenport, Iowa, daughter Lisa Glanton, of North Little Rock, Ark., and son Byron Glanton and his wife, Sherry, of Garfield, Ark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna; father, Jessie; brothers, Bobby and Jimmy; and his sister, Beth.

Dwayne was born on January 6, 1934, in Longview, Texas. He married Tommie Nell Barnum in 1957. He was a Navy Veteran and he worked for the Corp. of Engineers in the Parks and Recreation­s Dept. until he retired. They had four children, four grandchild­ren and two great-grandchild­ren.

Dwayne was a master at woodworkin­g and enjoyed flying RC airplanes. He was a witty individual who loved going to the Hayes Center and also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors. He loved traveling, camping, and country dancing with his wife. Dwayne was ornery, ask his neighbors, and quick tempered, ask anyone, but was quick to apologize and loved his wife and family more than words can say.

A graveside service at the Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery in Greers Ferry, Arkansas, is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
