92, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord, February 4, 2020. She was born on December 6, 1927, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jack and Mildred McQuown. Louise was devoted to her family and treasured making memories with them. She loved people, made friends easily and always enjoyed playing bridge.

Louise was a member of First Christian Church in Little Rock, active in CWF and volunteere­d with their food pantry. She worked with the Pulaski County election commission for several years and took her civic responsibi­lities seriously. Louise will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Janet Bowden, and her sister, Marilyn Cheney. She is survived by her loving husband, Keith M. Petersen; brother-in-law, Bruce Petersen (Bonnie); sister-in-law, Carol Bastian; two children, Keith Petersen (Linda), Diane Ferree (John); son-in-law, John Bowden; four grandchild­ren, Emily Connell (Kevin), Eric Bowden, Matt Ferree (Jennifer), Kristin Langrehr (Trent); six great-grandchild­ren; a host of nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Joanne Doak; and loving caregiver, Mia Baugh.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Louise’s name to Alzheimer’s Arkansas (alzark.org) or to First Christian Church, 14411 Taylor Loop Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72223.
