85, of North Little Rock passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Amelia was born in San Diego, Texas on May 25, 1934 the daughter of Juan and Agueda Ramos Guajardo. She married Domingo Ruben Carrion in 1955 in Lonoke, Arkansas, and they shared 63 years of marriage until his passing in 2018. Amelia was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and being a devoted mother and grandmothe­r to her family. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in North Little Rock.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Andrew Carrion, and Domingo Ruben Carrion Jr., three daughters, Olivia Shelby, Mary Guillen, and Paula Carrion, 12 grandchild­ren, 17 great-grandchild­ren, and four great-great-grandchild­ren. Also surviving are her brothers Juan Guajardo, and Larry Guajardo, and her sister Consuelo Petit. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brothers Paul, Raymond, Solomon, and Alex, and sisters Manuela, Delmira, and Helen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 6, 2020 beginning at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Samuel Loya will be officiatin­g.
