HEBER SPRINGS — Ralph Wilburn Zellers,

age 86, of Heber Springs, Ark., passed away on February 6, 2020.

Born on July 11, 1933, in Richmond, Calif., he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Minnie Pearl Cannon Zellers.

Ralph was a loving son, husband and father. He grew up in California where he married the love of his life Felna Marie Beasley. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country in the Korean War. He was employed by Pacific Bell Telephone Company for 30 years. Ralph loved cars and was a member of the Volkswagen Club. After he retired from Pacific Bell he and Felna retired and moved to Arkansas. He and Felna had been married for 50 years when she passed away in 2008. Ralph was known for his sense of humor and his big heart. Mr. Ralph as he had come to be known in later years had become a fixture at Peggy Sue’s Place, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and was sure to greet you with a smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Joe Fisher.

He is survived by his daughter Sandy Powers and her husband Mike of San Ramon, California, his son Larry Zellers of Las Vegas, Nevada, and his sister-in-law Elaine Beasley Fisher of Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. Zellers is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020, from 10-11 a.m., in the Heber Springs Church of Christ with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m., with Lance Mays officiatin­g. Interment with military honors will follow in the Pearson Cemetery.
