76, of White Hall, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 10, 2020. She was born on October 18, 1943 in the Carden Bottoms Community near Dardanelle, Ark., to Elmer and Deltha (Coates) Alexander. She graduated from Grady High School in 1961. She was a beautician for over 50 years. She was a faithful member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall, Ark.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, J.J.; two sisters, Nelda Alexander and Lula Alexander; a brother, Hoyt Alexander; nephew, Jeff Gibson. Survivors include her son, Jamie (Paula) Vent, like a daughter, Becky (Tommy) Shults; three grandchild­ren: Christophe­r (Sharron) Vent, Megan (Nathan) O’Brien, and Alex Vent; and two great-grandchild­ren: Jackson Vent and Joslyn Vent. She also leaves behind a host of dear friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend their greatest appreciati­on to Hospice Angels of Pine Bluff, especially Carolyn Morrisey and Jessica Morris.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. It will be held at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 7122 Sheridan Rd., White Hall, Ark. 71602. Officiatin­g her service will be Bro. Jonathon Witcher and Bro. Ben Hulsey. A private ceremony for immediate family and close friends will be announced at a later date.
