Jackson Thilenius has been named to the position of senior vice president, hospitalit­y and interiors for RDC, the architectu­re, planning, and interiors firm. Thilenius has relocated to RDC’s office in Rogers.

Simmons Bank has promoted Charlie Van Ness to market president for Northwest Arkansas.

The shareholde­rs of First Arkansas Bank & Trust recently elected Ali King Sugg, Chevron Ergle, and Mark Wilson to the bank’s board of directors.

Vaughn Endowed Professor of History Cherisse Jones-Branch has been named dean of the Graduate School at Arkansas State University.

Arkansas Foodbank Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Sanders was awarded the Dick Goebel Public Service award at the Feeding America’s National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.
