LINDA ADKINS HOLDERFIELD,

95, born October 8, 1924, passed away on March

7, 2020. She never missed a beat. Literally! She loved to dance. She loved Las Vegas, Tunica and Oaklawn. She always worked hard and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Linda was the youngest of a family of seven. Linda grew up in England, Ark., picking cotton. She quickly knew she wanted no part of the country life. She moved to the big city of Little Rock at the age of 18. She became a dental assistant at Camp Robinson after graduating from the England Schools. Linda was quite the Sales Lady. She opened her own appliance business at 5300 Asher Avenue, the old Walloch Furniture Store. It was appropriately named Linda’s Furniture and Appliances.

Linda is survived by her four children; Dennis (Marshia) Adkins, Sharon (Steve Duffel) Adkins, Robert Douglas Adkins, and Karen Holderfield, nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; step-children; Bobby Holderfield, Buddy Holderfield, and Melanie Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband; Buddy Holderfield, and stepson; Matthew Holderfield.

There was never a dull moment. In her last days of life, she was still giving us orders. May she rest in peace. Watch out Heaven, here she comes!

A private graveside service will be held at Little Rock National Cemetery.
