99, of Little Rock, passed away on March 12, 2020. She was born in Little Rock on September 16, 1920 to the late Elias Ben Morris and Dorothy Mae (Dawson) Morris. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a housewife and saleslady for Jack & Jill. She was a talented artist and favored many of her friends and family with her paintings. She will be remembered for her cheerful dispositio­n, good humor, kindness, and encouragem­ent and helping of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Bale, parents, four sisters, and her children, Larry Bale, Mike Bale, and Pat Bale. Her memory will be cherished by her nephews, Paul R Payne Jr. and his wife Paula of Georgetown, Texas, Rodger Payne of Little Rock, and John Hammond of Forest Hill, La.; her nieces Sandy Ames and her husband Tom Ames of Boulder, Colo., and Louis Hammond of Miami, Fla.; her great-nieces and nephews, Savanna Bogardus and her husband Tom Bogardus of Austin, Texas, Josh LaRue and his wife Jamie of Austin, Texas, Jeff Payne and his wife Tana of New Orleans, La., and her many friends at Good Shepherd Retirement Community, and the Windsong Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home 5800 W. 12th Street in Little Rock followed by a memorial service at the funeral home.
