■ DATE AND PLACE OF BIRTH: July 4, 1979, Two Rivers, Wis.

■ MY FAVORITE SPANISH SAYING AND ITS TRANSLATION: Ni lluvia, ni viento, detiene el movimiento. (Neither rain, nor wind, detain the movement.) It is a common chant that we use during social justice actions, especially when there is bad weather, and we continue to march, hold vigils and organize. Same with: El pueblo unido jamas sera vencido. (The community united will never be divided.) We have adapted it here in Arkansas to say: Arkansas, unido, jamas sera vencido. (Arkansas united will never be divided.) It is this phrase that inspired our re-brand to call ourselves Arkansas United.

■ I DRIVE: A bright blue Audi Q5, for as much as I drive all over Arkansas, at all hours of the day and night, I needed a dependable car that is great in all weather.

■ I WOULD LOVE TO MEET: Pope Francis and Michelle Obama.

■ MY ONE GUILTY PLEASURE IS: Shoes, all accessories, but definitely buying shoes. On the toughest days, I look at my pretty feet and get some joy in seeing them.

■ IN MY CAR, I LISTEN TO: Latin tropical and urban music.

■ TO RELAX I: Go salsa dancing and exercise, especially running with my dog.

■ NOT EVERYONE KNOWS: I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan.

■ MY FAVORITE VACATION SPOT IS: San Juan, Puerto Rico.

■ EVERY MORNING I MUST HAVE: At least two mugs of coffee and a mug of tea or water. I tell my nephew, I am a camel who needs to load up with liquids in the morning because my days are so unpredictable I never know if I will get the chance to grab something to drink.

■ WHAT BOTHERS ME MOST IS: Social media. I feel like there is so much more negativity than community on there these days.

■ BEHIND MY BACK, MY FRIENDS SAY I AM: Stubborn.

■ THE ONE THING YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND IN MY REFRIGERATOR: Salad mix and sandwich meat — to keep me honest so that I don’t grab for something unhealthy.

■ MY PET IS NAMED: Louie. He is the most handsome, intelligent and stubborn Lakeland terrier ever, and obviously I am not biased.

■ THE ONE WORD TO SUM ME UP: Passion
