HENSLEY — Charles E. (Buddy) Worden,

finished his work here on earth and departed on March 6, 2020, at the age of 84. He was an inventor, a poet, an author, and a painter of beautiful works of art. He was a horseman and admired and owned fine Tennessee Walking horses. Mr. Worden was an avid hunter of ducks, pheasant, and quail. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Council 812) in Little Rock.

He leaves behind his wife of 44 years Jan Worden. Three children; Charles E. Worden, Jr. (Tina), Cynthia “Cindy” Worden Lowrey (Sam), Craig Grady Worden (Jo Hanna), two step-children; Lisa Kuntz Miller (Sean), Christophe­r Kuntz (Angelia), nine grandchild­ren; Erin Joslin (Scott), Nick and Ashley Worden, Audrey and Rebekah Kuntz, Rachel Worden, Matthew, Drew, Noah Miller, and many great-grandchild­ren.

Mr. Worden was a graduate of Little Rock High School, Class of 1953. He was a patriot and served in the US Naval Reserve at the height of the Korean War.

Mr. Worden attended the University of Arkansas in Fayettevil­le and obtained a BS degree in Microbiolo­gy before entering graduate school. He was a Sigma Chi. Mr. Worden was a Medical Technologi­st and was certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) until his death. Mr. Worden was a true Catholic gentleman and a friend to any man that extended a hand in friendship.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway. Funeral Services will follow Thursday, March 12 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Please share your memories of Buddy at www.rollerfune­ralhomes.com.
