CARTHAGE — Nettie Jo Diemer Orr

of Carthage, Arkansas, was born November 11, 1939 at Little Rock, the daughter of the late Ray Leonard Diemer and Lucille Riley Diemer. She was a faithful member of Sheridan Church of Christ, and was a homemaker. Nettie Jo enjoyed accompanyi­ng her husband Troy on hunting and fishing trips. She truly had a servant’s heart. She was a gifted cook, and in addition to taking care of her husband and children, she was dedicated to providing food for her Church family, and others in need as well. She died Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Troy Orr, a son, Gary Orr, and her brother James Diemer. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Troy Dale and Rhonda Orr of Sheridan; daughter and son-in-law, Jani and David Beggs of Little Rock; sister, Sandra Leibfritz of Little Rock; grandchild­ren, Benjamin (Caroline) Beggs, Zachery Orr, William (Brittany) Beggs, Brandon Orr; great-grandson, Liam Hunter Beggs. She is also survived by her Church family, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Ministers Kendall Hemphill and Tom Warmack officiatin­g. Due to possible inclement weather, the service will conclude at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery (Near Carthage, Ark.). Visitation is also Wednesday, 2-3 p.m. Pallbearer­s are Benjamin Beggs, Zackary Orr, William Beggs, Brandon Orr, Phil Riley and Mark Riley.
