Deacon BRUNON JOHN STROZYK,

age 81, of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark., passed away on March 26, 2020, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 22, 1938, in North Little Rock, Ark., to Floyd Strozyk and Martha Strozyk, both of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy (Dottie) Strozyk, who recently passed on January 18, 2020. In addition, he was preceded in death by his parents (Floyd and Martha) and his brother Frank Strozyk (2019) of North Little Rock, Ark.

He is survived by his sister Evelyn Harper (Lewis) of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark., his brother Charles Strozyk of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark.; his son John William Strozyk (Traci) of Strongsvil­le, Ohio; son Paul Anthony Strozyk (Danna) of Hot Springs, Ark.; daughter Teresa Marie Kelly (Michael Kelly) of Little Rock, Ark.; and daughter Shara Len Justice (Jack Justice Jr.) of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark. Also, Deacon Brunon is survived by 11 grandchild­ren, Ben Strozyk (Jordyn) of Brook Park, Ohio; Blake Strozyk (Hannah) of Strongsvil­le, Ohio; Brent Strozyk of Strongsvil­le, Ohio; Haley Strozyk, Sean Strozyk, and Ethan Strozyk of Hot Springs, Ark.; Morgan Kelly and Hayden Kelly of Little Rock, Ark.; Jack Justice III of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark.; Jessica Civello (Sam) of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark.; and Jordan Burnett (Kenny) of North Little Rock (Marche), Ark.; as well as one great-grandchild, AdaMae Civello, daughter of Sam and Jessica Civello.

On May 6, 1961, Brunon married Dottie, his loving wife of 59 years as of May, and subsequent­ly was father to four children. Deacon Brunon was ordained on November 15, 1986 as a deacon of the Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Little Rock and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock (Marche), Ark. He was a passionate, devoted Catholic Christian who preached the Word of God in his words and actions. He absolutely loved his family and the community. His devotion, ministry, and family were central to his life. He centered his life on living the scriptures and helping others develop their own faith.

Due to the current public health crisis, Visitation, Mass of Christian Burial, and Interment was held and limited to immediate family only on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Ruben Quinteros as Celebrant.
