WAVERLY, Tenn. — On March 16, 2020, Stephen Bradley “Brad” Thomas,

age 49, formerly of Plumervill­e, went to a new Heavenly home. Brad was born December 28, 1970 in Morrilton.

He was a member of the Bascom United Methodist Church in Waverly, Tennessee. He was baptized at Plumervill­e First Baptist Church in 1982. He was a true outdoorsma­n. He loved to go on elk hunting trips to Colorado with his dad and Shawn Wilbanks; turkey hunting with Andy Thomas in Tennessee; salmon fishing in Alaska; deer hunting with his dad and Nan; hog hunting in Mississipp­i with his dad, Nan, and Clyde McDaniel; fishing with his dad and George Pilkington; floating the Buffalo River with Michael Wingo; deep sea fishing in Florida and the Gulf of Mexico with his dad; and hunting and fishing with Linton Kidd.

He was a knife maker and gunsmith. He could fix, repair, or build anything. He loved spending time with Jack and listening to him play the guitar or saxophone and watching him grow. He was so proud of him. He was known for his barbeques, baking banana bread and giving it away at church. He loved his two dogs Doc and Miss Kitty. He always made a garden, canned all the vegetables and gave them away. He planted perennial flowers and fed hummingbir­ds. He excelled in every endeavor. He would help anyone who needed it. He was kind hearted and generous. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife: Natalie “Nan” Thomas of Waverly, Tennessee; son: Jackson “Jack” Thomas of Little Rock; grandfathe­r: Bradley Thomas of Plumervill­e; parents: Steve and Sarah Thomas of Hattievill­e; brother: Michael (Angela) Thomas of Plumervill­e; mother-in-law: Kay Tittle; step-daughters: Allie and Carmen of Waverly, Tennessee; and step-grandson: Eli Wick. He was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts: Bobbye Thomas, Claud Leigh, and Frances Leigh.
