FAYETTEVILLE — Adrin Jennings Lowry,
96, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away April 28, 2020. He was born February 6, 1924 in Cypress, Illinois, the son of the late Arthur and Retha Carlock Lowry. Adrin was of the Catholic faith, had served in the United States Navy during WWII and in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the past owner and operator of Lowry Furniture Store in North Little Rock and Jacksonville, Ark., and also owner and operator of Linkway Furniture Store in Fayetteville, Russellville, Harrison, Rogers and Siloam Springs, Ark. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Karen and Sharon Lowry and his brother, Arthur James Lowry.
He is survived by his wife of almost 67 years, Ruth Ellen Stott to whom he married June 6, 1953; his son, Steve Lowry and his wife Karen of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter, Kerri Palmer and husband Richard of North Little Rock, Ark., and his grandchildren; Josh, Justin, Jared, Andrew, Matthew and Jonathan.
Interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Private Mass will follow with Father Jason Tyler and Father Alfhones Perikala officiating. The family request that memorials be made to Oglala Lakota College-Nursing Department, P.O.
