SATURDAY Virtual Women Run Arkansas 5K
CONWAY — The Women Run Arkansas Running Club is a Road Runners Club of America organization that was formed in 2000 in response to the need for a statewide women’s running and walking club. The 23rd annual WRA 5K The Women Run will be virtual this year and will begin at 9 a.m. This 5K race is open to women only. Virtual 5K registration is $35 and will end at 9 a.m. Monday. 5-7 p.m. Fridays; and First United Methodist Church, 1099 W. Pine St., from 5-7 p.m. Saturdays. Other churches, organizations, businesses and volunteers have helped make the dinners possible by donating time and resources.
Neighbor’s Table

Recreation and Parks Department Closings
RUSSELLVILLE — The city of Russellville has closed the Hughes Community Center and the Russellville Aquatic Center until further notice. In addition, all park facilities, including fields, restrooms and water fountains in the Russellville parks system, have been closed. Into the Light Fundraiser
QUITMAN — Margie’s Haven House Inc. will present its third annual Into the Light fundraiser from 6-9 p.m. June 13 at Fawn Hollow, 2075 Goff Road.
