JAMES (JIM) PERSHING WILLIAMS,

-

73, of Little Rock, passed away in his sleep on the afternoon of April 25, 2020 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jim was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 19, 1947 to the late Pershing and Lillian Williams. Jim grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Hall High School. He attended the University of Arkansas, but was drafted and joined the Navy. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. Jim’s charismatic personality made him an excellent businessman and salesman. He began his electrical sales career working for his dad and later bought the business, Metro Electric Sales Co. Jim was charming, generous, kind, and a free-spirit.

He was a great friend and had many through all the years of his life. His open heart and non-judgemental spirit made him friends with people from all walks of life. He loved fishing and deer hunting, but his family was most important to him, especially his two daughters who meant the world to him. He had a great record collection and loved to drive Cadillacs.

He is survived by his daughters, Wendy and Lana Williams; his sisters, Carolyn Riley (Vic) and Debbie Tidball (Lary); and his dog and best friend, Beau.

There will be a private graveside service for the family on Thursday, April 30. Due to the current public health crisis, the memorial service for his many friends and extended family will be scheduled for a later date.
