passed away on May 4, 2020. She was born September 12, 1941 to Daphne Ivey Jackson and Carl E. Jackson, and was a lifelong resident of Little Rock. She graduated from Troy High School in Troy, Ohio in 1959 where she had moved to live with her aunt to finish school when Governor Orval Faubus closed the Little Rock schools. She then attended both the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Grace worked for Worthen Bank for a number of years before getting into real estate. During her career she was a consistent member of the Million Dollar Club and received numerous awards in recognitio­n of her sales volume in residentia­l properties. She retired from Adkins McNeill and Smith Realtors, and was a member of the Little Rock Realtors Associatio­n, Arkansas Realtor Associatio­n and the National Associatio­n of Realtors.

Grace and her husband, Paul, enjoyed traveling in the USA, Europe and the Far East. Cruises were their particular favorite. She continued meeting monthly with her high school girl friends from Little Rock Central High School even though Central was closed their senior year. These ladies were all friends in high school and continue to be great friends today.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years, Paul H. Dixon Jr. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Jackson (Vickie); daughter, Rene Pace of Gurdon; sons, Robert Franklin (Mary) of Edgemont, and Marc Franklin (Georgia) of Little Rock; stepdaught­er, Paula Dixon Carter of Richmond, Va.; grandchild­ren, Taylor Griffin (Josh) of Gurdon, Colby Pace (Adrian) of Norman, Okla., Sarah Franklin of Little Rock, and Karrie Morrison (Dan) of Springfiel­d, Mo.; step-grandchild­ren, Leslye Rowland (Darin) of Philadelph­ia, Pa., Nicholas Kazas and Alexandra Kazas, both of Richmond; four great-granddaugh­ters, two great-grandsons, and one step-great-granddaugh­ter; and a host of friends.

Graveside services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National MS Society, American Heart Associatio­n, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and Highland Valley United Methodist Church.
