RUSSELLVIL­LE — Mildred Hudson Blackburn,

age 98, of Russellvil­le went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 9, 2020. She was born November 1, 1921,

in Clarksvill­e to Elmer Levi and Laura Harvey Hudson. She was a graduate of Clarksvill­e Schools, a member of First Cumberland Presbyteri­an Church and a retired secretary of the Searcy Public Schools.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, King Blackburn; two brothers, Raymond Hudson and E.E. Hudson; and a sister, Ilene Jones. Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and John Przybys of Russellvil­le, Maureen and Rick Adkins of Little Rock, and Melinda and Paul McNeill of Jonesboro; six grandchild­ren, Sarah Harriman (Nathan) of Fayettevil­le, Laura Jones of Little Rock, Dr. Blake Stevenson (Jill) of Huntertown, Indiana, Maggie Stevenson of Jonesboro, Dr. Bret Stevenson of Atlanta, Georgia and Hallie McNeill of Brooklyn, New York; and eight great-grandchild­ren, Aidan, Declan and Iain Stevenson, Lily and Claire Jones and Hudson, Caroline and Cate Harriman.

A private graveside service will be held for the family in Woodland Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellvil­le. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
