YORKTOWN — Linda Lou Stephens Ryall,

78, of Yorktown, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Lakewood Nursing and Rehab in North Little Rock. She was born September 6, 1941, in Searcy to the late Lillian L. (Arnhart) and

Troy Stephens of Clinton. She attended school in Morrilton and graduated from Falfurrias, Texas. After high school, she went on to the University of Arkansas in Fayettevil­le, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and graduated with a degree in Business Administra­tion. While in college, she married Robert F. Ryall and lived in Yorktown on the family farm. She was the office manager/bookkeeper of Yorktown Water for 40 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Star City. She also served on the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Arkansas and represente­d Lincoln County.

Preceding her death were her parents, Lillian and Ezra W. Fitch and Troy T. Stephens.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert F. Ryall, Sr., of Yorktown; daughter, Lucy Beth (Harvey) Owen of Beebe; son, Robert “Bo” (Karen) Ryall, Jr., of Little Rock; 5 grandchild­ren, Robert (Hannah) Belew, Lydia Belew, Sophie Ryall, Lily Ryall, and Mimi Ryall; and 2 great-grandchild­ren, Jack Ryall Belew and Thomas Belew.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2020, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yorktown. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Alzheimer’s Associatio­n, Arkansas Chapter, 10201 W. Markham, Ste. 100, Little Rock, AR 72202.
