CONWAY — The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture-Extension Faulkner County Horticulture and the Faulkner County Master Gardeners will host a free Learning to Grow presentation with lifestyle blogger Amber Card from 6-7:30 p.m. on the Zoom app. Participants will learn how to incorporate new textures and hues into their garden and indoor green space, as well as how to utilize homegrown fruits and vegetables. ONGOING ATU Spring Plant Sale
RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Tech University Department of Agriculture has modified its annual spring plant sale for 2020. Tomato and pepper plants grown by ATU students and faculty are available by the 18-count flat through the Russellville Community Market. Ornamental and landscape bedding plants from the department will be available in the near future. Place orders online at russellville.locallygrown.net/market/index/37097; then pay for and pick up the plants from 4-8 p.m. each Tuesday at the train depot in downtown Russellville. Look for plants listed as “ATU Agriculture” when browsing the online inventory.
Russellville Park Openings
RUSSELLVILLE — The Russellville Recreation and Parks Department has opened the following parks: the Russellville Dog Park, the Russellville Skate Park, and all tennis and outdoor basketball courts and the community fishing pond at Pleasant View Park. In addition, Hickey Park, Pleasant View Park, Shiloh Park and the Soccer Complex have opened for practices. Games, scrimmages and tournaments will not be allowed at this time. Bathrooms and playgrounds in Russellville parks will remain closed until further notice. All visitors to the city’s parks are reminded to follow state guidelines in relation to COVID-19. Main Street Morrilton Farmers’ Market
MORRILTON — The Main Street Morrilton Farmers’ Market is open from 4-7 p.m. the first Thursday of the month in the 100 block of Commerce Street. Neighbor’s Table

Sesquicentennial Celebration
RUSSELLVILLE—Main Street Arkansas, Main Street Russellville, the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Russellville are hosting the Sesquicentennial Celebration at 5 p.m. June 5 in downtown Russellville. The 150th birthday celebration will include an art walk, photo exhibit, mural unveiling, ribbon cutting, live music, birthday sweets and fireworks sponsored by Interstate Fireworks. Build Your Own Droid
CONWAY—University of Central Arkansas Makerspace and Conductor are hosting a Build Your Own Droid workshop from 5-7 p.m. June 12 at UCA Makerspace, 250 Donaghey Ave., No. 130. The free class is designed to introduce makers and the community to the world of innovation. Supplies and instruction will be provided by the Makerspace staff. Into the Light Fundraising Event
QUITMAN — Margie’s Haven House Inc. will present its third annual Into the Light fundraiser from 6-9 p.m. June 13 at Fawn Hollow, 2075 Goff Road. The event will feature music, dancing, food, wine, special raffled items, live and silent auctions, and a guest speaker. The fundraiser will benefit adults and children who are victims of domestic violence. Tickets are $30 each or $225 for a table for eight.
