veteran of the United States Army, born December 5, 1952 in Lepanto, Ark., died May 14, 2020 in Little Rock, Ark.

He was born to the late Charles Isaac Bishop and Stella Mae Harris Bishop; he was one of eighteen siblings. Remaining siblings are two sisters: Loreda Stice of Romance, Ark., and Joyce Bishop of Russellvil­le, Ark.; one brother, Louis Bishop of Oklahoma.

He leaves behind his best friend and companion Ruby Coosenberr­y-Bishop of the home; son, Michael Don Bishop (Samantha); and two grandchild­ren, Brooklyn and Titus Bishop; three step-children, Danika Fretz (Joe) of Conway, Ark., Flint Turner (Denise) of Murfreesbo­ro, Tenn., and Jana Motes of North Little Rock, Ark.; five step-grandchild­ren; five great-grandchild­ren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends and loved ones who were are all dear to his heart.

A member of First Pentecosta­l Church in North Little Rock for twenty-one years, he loved ALL of his church family.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will be 11 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2020 at First Pentecosta­l Church in North Little Rock. Pastor Nathan and Bishop Joel Holmes will be officiatin­g. Burial at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery will be private.
