CAMDEN — Nancy Lusby Boosa, 87,

of Camden, Ark. passed away on May 25, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born in Troy, Ark. on March 24, 1933 to Hugh and Willie Lusby. On June 14, 1952 she married the love of her life, Bob, at her beloved Timothy Methodist Church. She retired from Southern Pulpwood after 45 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert “Bob” Boosa; her sister, Cortez Langley and her brothers, Doyce and Harold Lusby. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Boosa Scott and her husband, Jeff of Fernandina Beach, Fla. and Jennifer Boosa Young of Miramar Beach, Fla.; five grandchild­ren, Cody May of Springfiel­d, MO, Stephen Scott and his wife, Lindy of Ridgecrest, Calif., Ashley Scott of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Blain Marlar of Camden, Ark., Darian Young of Little Rock, Ark. and a brother, Billy Hugh Lusby of Camden, Ark. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to India Roberts, Marylue Perry and Jane Pessa for your loving kindness and caring for Nancy.

Nancy will be remembered as a faithful, loving and determined woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She inspired others with her strength as well as her recipes.

The family will receive friends at Proctor Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Timothy Methodist Park with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Ark.
