ARKADELPHI­A — Judith “Judy” Carol Stewart,

age 54, of Arkadelphi­a, passed from this life on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born on February 25, 1966 in Arkadelphi­a the daughter of Ray and

Faye Sloan Stewart. Judy was a 1984 graduate of Arkadelphi­a High School and a 1989 graduate of Henderson State University. She was a sixth grade teacher at Goza Middle School for many years. Judy loved shopping for her grand daughter, watching Andy Griffith and scrap booking. She is preceded in death by one brother, Chuck Stewart and one aunt, Louise Files.

Judy is survived by her parents, Ray and Faye Stewart, one daughter, Blair Nutt (Justin) of Arkadelphi­a, one brother, Randy Stewart (Lori) of Arkadelphi­a, one sister in law, Peggy Nelson formerly of Hot Springs, and one grand daughter, Georgia Paige Nutt.

The family will host a memorial service at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God in Arkadelphi­a with Bro Rick Mays and Bro Steve Patterson officiatin­g.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphi­a. Interment will be private. Pallbearer­s are Dustin O’Brien, Dusty Welch, Robbie Garrett, Charlie Littlefiel­d, Jason Stewart, Jason Watson, Rusty Rogers, Bill Rogers. Honorary Pallbearer­s are Jimmy King, Larry Manning, Mike Blair, Randy Garner and Gary Crowder.

COVID-19 Requiremen­ts: Masks MUST be worn in our facility and at the church at all times during Viewing or Services. 50 people in our facility MAX at any given time. We ask that during visitation you pay your respects and exit the facility as soon as possible. Only family members will be allowed to sit down during viewing.
