fell asleep and awoke in the arms of Jesus and her beloved husband, Harold J. Williams, Jr who was anxiously awaiting her. Jeannie was born to Kyle and Maude Langley on October 3, 1929 in New Albany, Mississipp­i. At 18 years of age she left family and friends to pursue a better life in Memphis Tennessee. There she met Harold, who was the love of her life. Harold and Jeannie were married February 18, 1949 and lived a full and loving life together until Harold went to be with Jesus in 2006.

Jeannie was a true southern lady, exhibiting charm and kindness to all she met. She began a career in real estate in 1968 and vigorously continued that career path until her death. She closed her last “deal” on June 11, 2020. Jeannie was an inspiratio­n and pillar to so many, breaking many barriers in the real estate business world. She was a Certified Residentia­l Specialist and Graduate of Realtor Institute.

She poured her energy and life into her work, community and anything she pursued. Jeannie held leadership roles in numerous profession­al and community organizati­ons. Those include: North Pulaski Board of Realtors (founding member and past president), Arkansas Realtor Associatio­n, Women’s Council of Realtors (past national president), National Associatio­n of Home Builders Auxiliary and Greater Little Rock Home Builders Auxiliary. Jeannie served as a trustee for the Realtor’s Political Action Committee as well as founding member. She was recognized and received awards throughout the years too numerous to list.

Community was paramount to Jeannie. She believed in giving back to the community. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church since 1963, teaching Sunday school for several years alongside Harold. Jeannie remained active in the church holding numerous leadership roles. Other groups she belonged to were the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary (past president), North Little Rock Women’s Club (past president) and a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital for many years.

Jeannie leaves her three daughters, Pamela Ward (Gary Jack) who resides in Austin, Texas, Patricia Cameron and Penne Williams (Brian Nichol) of North Little Rock, Ark. She has six grandchild­ren, Heather Hundley Beitzel (Derek), Brett Blakely (Doris), Taylor Blakely, Patrick Cameron (Nabil), Dylan Williams, Rachel Walters (Spencer) and five great-grandchild­ren Alexandra and Annamarie Beitzel and Lesley, Jimmy and Isabella Blakely.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 12 noon at Park Hill Baptist Church, 201 E. C Ave., North Little Rock, Ark 72116. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Park Hill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
