“Movie: Child’s Play”

A family is terrorized and forced to fight for its life against a high-tech doll that becomes self-aware — and, subsequently, filled with homicidal rage — in Lars Klevberg’s 2019 remake of the 1988 horror classic of the same title, also standing as a reboot of the whole long-running slasher franchise. Mark Hamill voices Chucky, the bloodthirsty toy; Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry and Tim Matheson also star.
