City district opens for outdoor dining

The Argenta Outdoor Dining District is open in downtown North Little Rock, according to the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The entertainm­ent district is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau has marked district boundaries, and delivered window decals and further informatio­n to Main Street businesses Thursday, a news release stated.

Participat­ing locations include Brood and Barley, Cregeen’s Irish Pub, Crush Wine Bar, Flyway Brewing, Four Quarter Bar, The Joint Theater and Coffeehous­e, and Skinny J’s.

Amusement park opens with rules

Funland Amusement Park in North Little Rock reopened this weekend with social distancing guidelines, Parks and Recreation officials announced last week.

The park will be open on Fridays from 1-7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 1-6 p.m. on Sundays, according to a news release. Concession stands will also be open.

Tina Worrell, Parks and Recreation superinten­dent, said the lines at the park will be marked to maintain six feet of distance among patrons. She said hand-sanitizing stations are available throughout the park.

“Rides and high touch areas will be disinfecte­d regularly,” she said in the release.

The park’s capacity is 330 customers, according to the release.

Ballpark to host disc golf event

The Arkansas Travelers baseball team announced last week that Dickey-Stephens Park will be the site of a disc golf event in July.

Tee times for the event will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 18 and from 1-7 p.m. on July 19, according to a news release from the Arkansas Travelers.

The event will cost about $10 per person, $5 per child and a “Family 4 Pack” will be available for $55.

People’s temperatur­es will be taken before they can enter the ballpark, and social distancing will be enforced throughout the course.
