DILLARD SHERRILL,

a retired plumber of Sherwood passed on to his eternal resting place on June 20, 2020 at the age of 67.

Dillard is survived by his wife, Patreca “Pat” Sherrill, children William Eric (Shannon) Sherrill and Robert Todd Sherrill, two grandsons William Garrett Sherrill and Jacob Harris Sherrill, brother William (Shirley) Sherrill and sister Loretta (Keith) Sherrill Goodman. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Sherrill and Flora Elizabeth Long Sherrill, siblings Alfred Sherrill, Gerald Sherrill, Billy Sherrill, Curtis Joey Sherrill, Hazel Sherrill Carlton, Lula Bell Sherrill Circey and Bessie Sherrill Branscum.

Dillard was known as a oneof-a-kind loyal hardworkin­g and devoted family man. He enjoyed spending time and sharing his skills with children, especially his grandchild­ren, whether in his workshop, skiing behind a boat or hunting at deer camp. Friends and family remember Dillard’s hard work ethic and animated conversati­ons.

A small private graveside service will be held for close family members. The family requests your presence at a celebratio­n of Dillard’s Life from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at: The Venue at Oakdale, 901 Kellogg Acres Road, Sherwood, Ark., 72120.

The Arkansas Baptist Home for Children in Monticello where Dillard spent his teenage years was instrument­al in his life. Memorials may be made to the ABHC in lieu of flowers.
