age 89 of Little Rock, Arkansas went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday June 18, 2020. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmothe­r and Great-Grandmothe­r. She was born on Tuesday May 19, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James Frank Hovorka and Bessie Cheek Hovorka. Mary Ann was a wonderful and caring woman who always put the needs of her family first. She was an avid music lover (Especially Elvis), she enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and being outside. She loved to spend time with her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She was a hard working woman always on the go and a real genius with managing money. She spent 27 years raising her family in Southern California. She moved back to Arkansas in 1984 to retire and live peacefully with her late husband of 45 years Robert Elvin Bright.

She was survived by her sister Shirley Brewer, her children Carolyn Ferry, Susan Perez and Robert Elton Bright, her beloved grandchild­ren William Ferry III, Christine Grisham, Sara Perez, Christa Perez, Robert Michael Bright, Matthew Bright, Bethany Bright and 15 great-grandchild­ren. She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert Elvin Bright, her Brother Jay Hovorka, Granddaugh­ters Lauren Elise Ferry and Celia Maria Perez.

There will be a visitation on Thursday June 25, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediatel­y following at 1pm at Griffin Leggett Healy & Roth Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest on Thursday June 25, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. At Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Alexander, Arkansas.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Governor of Arkansas has issued directives that face coverings must be worn and social distancing be observed; indoor events at Griffin Leggett Healy & Roth are limited to 50 in attendance due to the directive until further notice.
