age 63, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Patsy Jones Cranford and Boyce O. Cranford.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lillian Cranford; daughter, Jessica Ellis (Brook); son, Jason Cranford; brother, Bryan Cranford (Donna); sisterin-law, Tracey Rosenau (Tim); granddaugh­ter, Annabelle Ellis; grandson, Weston Ellis; stepmother, Patricia Willbanks Cranford, and a host of nieces and other relatives and friends.

He graduated from Little Rock Parkview High School and attended the University of Arkansas. After college he went to work for Cranford Constructi­on Company. Cranford Constructi­on Company sold to McGeorge Contractin­g in 1998 where he continued to serve as President of the asphalt division. He spent his career in constructi­on doing what he loved. He was currently serving on the Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Associatio­n Board and had previously served as president. He was inducted into the Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Associatio­n Hall of Fame in 2018. He was appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to the Arkansas State Contractor License Board in 2013 and reappointe­d by Governor Asa Hutchinson in 2018. He was currently serving his second term. He was a long time member of Arkansas Associated General Contractor­s.

He had many hobbies. He loved Razorback sports, hunting, fishing, and flying. He had his private and commercial pilot’s license. He loved spending time with family at his cattle ranch in Montgomery County, Ark. He has previously served on the Montgomery County Farm Bureau Board. He was recognized with his son, Jason, as farm family of the year for Montgomery County in 2017.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. followed by a service beginning at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Please observe social distancing and masks.
