BENTON — Stephen Kyle Hathcote,

-

age 49, of Benton, entered the Gates of Heaven Sunday, July 19, 2020. He is preceded in death by his dad, John Stephen Hathcote.

Kyle’s faith in Christ was first and foremost, for he loved Jesus with all his heart, with all his mind and with all his soul. Next to the Lord, he lived for his family. Loving them with a steadfast love, teaching them the ways of God, and always being present. Kyle took joy in the simple things. His love for life was contagious and as we remember him, we can’t help but to smile and to know the God is good…and that it’s all about Jesus.

His legacy continues through his wife, Kim, and children Hayden (Chloe), Tanner, and Riley. He is additionally survived in life by his mother, Lorraine Hathcote (Ball); 8 siblings: John (Debra), Shannon (Reeder Sams), Shelly, Andrea (Rodney Cheek), Kelly (James Rolan), Erin (Mike Pekrul), Matt (Julie), and Mark (Andie); and 25 nieces/nephews: Morgan (Lane), Taylor, Lexi, Tatiana, Lillie Claire, Cole, Ava, Jacob, Ivan, Charlie Lake, Michael, Vanessa, Pearl, Jack, Brinkley, Hunts, Silas, Henry, Hoyt, Hannah Lou, Sawyer, Jakobe, Selma Ruth, Ezra, and Abraham.

Friends may greet the family at Zion Lutheran Church of Avilla, 300 Avilla E, Alexander, Ark., on Friday, July 24, 2020, from 10 a.m.-12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Avilla Christian Academy.

1COR. 15:58 Therefore my dear brothers and sisters stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
